In our example we&#8217;ll track subscribers. First we have to figure out how we\u2019d want this data to show up in Google Analytics (you\u2019ll probably may need a developer to help with this):<br \/>\nga(\u2018send\u2019, \u2018event\u2019, \u2018pop up\u2019, \u2018subscribe\u2019, \u2018[current page url]\u2019);<br \/>\nOur event breaks out into this:<br \/>\n<strong>category<\/strong> = popup<br \/>\n<strong>action<\/strong> = subscribe<br \/>\n<strong>label<\/strong> = the page where the action took place<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h2>Go to Reporting -&gt; Conversions -&gt; Goals and click + New Goal:<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1069\" src=\"https:\/\/popupdomination.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/1-1.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"1260\" height=\"608\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>2. Goal Category, Action, Label, Value if need. In our case there is the Category &#8211; &#8220;popup&#8221; and Action &#8211; &#8220;subscribe&#8221;.
